Waiake Beach has a children's playground and large trees for shelter. There is a raft for older children to swim out to, a boat ramp, a sailing club and a little Island called the Tor which becomes a penninsula to the mainland at low tide. Children who attend the local schools, get to learn to sail little optimist yachts as part of their schooling in Yrs 5 & 6 or they can join the sailing club opposite the beach!

20 Minutes from Auckland CBD. The apartments are centrally located to all Auckland activities and provide a great base to explore greater Auckland too. We are just 2 minutes drive from Long Bay regional Park which has a great kids playground with a flying fox (zip slide down a long wire).
2 minutes drive south (or 15 minutes walk) is the seaside village of Browns Bay. Browns Bay has everything you need including clothes shops, two large supermarkets, a UK shop, a SA shop, all the major Banks, post office, lawyers, hairdressers, doctors, chemists, news agencies etc...
