“Little Texas” is situated in the Kaitieke Valley close to Tongariro National Park and Whanganui River. 15 Kilometres from Owhango and National Park Village.
The historic cottage, from early 1900, has stunning views on the volcanoes of Tongariro.
It still has the romantic feel of the old rimu cottages, but the house is completely refurbished in recent years.
The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with old fashioned coal range and lounge with log fire and TV, 3 bedrooms (1 double and 2 twins), a bathroom with bath, separate toilet, laundry with a washing machine and freezer and an outside deck with BBQ.
All bedding (made up beds) is included and there are tea- and handtowels.
In the kitchen are tea, coffee, sugar and salt, pepper and herbs for cooking available.
