Kowhai Glen Cottage is situated in a small hidden rural valley 5 minutes from both Warkworth and Matakanas cinemas cafes and farmers market.
The cottage is made of all eco friendly natural and recycled timbers creating a beautiful space for rest and relaxation.
The creek also creates its own ambience with the sound of the water falling over the rocks as it makes its way through the bush.
The property is home to 6acres of virgin Kauri forest which is easily accesable and is wonderful to walk through and feel the magic of these giants of the forest.
We give you a beautiful organic breakfast which we put in the cottage for you to look after youself as we feel this gives you more intimacy.
Breakfast consists of a bowl of fruit, homemade muslei, yoghurt, toast, honey ,organic bacon, eggs, coffee and tea.

You will feel relaxed and refreshed after your stay at Kowhai Glen.
the cottage is a seperate self contained B and B away from the main house to ensure privacy.
Secluded priavate and seperate. Hidden in a small rural valley. Easy drive and close to Warkworth Matakana cinemas and cafes. Close to a wide range of regional parks reserves and beaches.
We offer a beautiful bush walk across the stream and into the beautiful native forest that is protected and boarders our property. Total solitude peace and relaxation.

We are only 5 minutes drive to either Warkworth township ., Matakana, Algies bay or Scotts landing.
In Matakana you will discover boutique shopping, Farmers markets, Cafes and cinemas.
Tawharanui,regional park is a beautiful beach where you can enjoy the waves and white sands or take one of the parks many walks. We are located about 25 minutes from there. Scandretts regional park is another beautiful spot only 7 minutes from Kowhai glen.
Sandspit you can take a walk along the board walk ,catch a ferry to Kawau island or eat at the local cafe or launch your own boat for fishing.
Goat island marine reserve and Leigh fishing village would take you 25 minutes driving to get to.
we are centrally located to many of the local attractions and are happy to talk to you about these.
All wineries and resturants are on our doorstep.
