Baytree Cottage is only 5 minutes walk to Ponsonby Road with all its cafes and boutique shops. From here you can catch the Link Bus to Downtown or to the Ferry Building, to take cruises on the harbour or travel to Devonport.
The cottage has some genuine colonial furniture to enhance the authentic atmosphere and also new beds and comfortable lounge furniture. It is in a quiet neighbourhood and parking is directly outside the front door.

Nearby attractions & activities
There are small parks scattered nearby which are usful for entertaining children or just for wandering through and enjoying the trees and peaceful atmosphere. Ponsonby Road has many different types of small shops, many of them owner-operated boutiques and cafes/restaurants. This makes shopping a personal experience and genuine designer items are available. There is a supermarket within walking distance in Richmond Road and also a Post Office and most Banks along the end of Ponsonby road, about 1 km away.
