Peaceful and quiet in the beautiful Cardrona Valley, yet very central, our tastefully furnished, fully equipped home, is a perfect place for a great holiday, Summer and Winter.
All linen and bedding is supplied and the kitchen is fully equipped. The beds have been chosen for comfort and a great nights sleep. Facilities include Sky, an LCD screen TV, courtyard, 4 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is a garage with parking for one car & ample additional off road parking.
This site and its' photos are representative of 3 beautiful, four bedroomed properties in the same location. One house sleeps up to 8, whilst the others sleep up to 9 The cost is the same for all these homes.
Cardrona has stunning scenery for walking & biking and is a 2 minute drive to the Cardrona Adventure Park with quad bikes, buggies and monster trucks. We are so convenient in the ski season as we are only We are only 3 km away from Cardrona, Snow Farm & Snow Farm ski fields.
Being just 35 minutes from Queenstown/20 minutes from Wanaka, it is just a short drive to all the activities of Wanaka and Queenstown. These include golf, vineyards, fabulous restaurants/cafes and a huge range of adrenaline activities.
Cardrona Retreat is walking distance from Horse trekking & the Iconic Cardrona Pub, which is great for a few beers in the summer, mulled wine in the winter. It is also a very popular restaurant and apres ski location. There is a small shop selling essentials & wine/beer only a two minute walk away.
We now have a ski drying room!
Cardrona Retreat is in a lovely quiet rural location with mountain views. There is a Courtyard with outdoor furniture and a fantastic (indoor) large open fire.
There is a small shop providing essentials about a two minute walk away, and it is only a 5 minute walk to the the Cardrona Hotel and it's fabulous food.
Please leave the house as you have found it. Sorry, cancellations are non refundable up to 4 weeks before arrival but this may be covered by your travel insurance

Rates: Rates are based on up to six guests, extra guests have an additional charge of $25 per person per night. Prices range from $275-295 per night for a min of 3 nights stay at off Peak times. The rate for the Ski Season/Public & School holidays/Events is $370-$400/night;
Less than 3 nights stay may be possible by negotiation but a higher rate may be payable at those times.
Please leave the home as you have found it. If you prefer not to do the cleaning yourself, just let me know at the time of booking; I can arrange cleaning on departure for an additional $150. In the unlikely event of it happening, guests are to report and pay for any damage. Our guests have always been very respectful so we don't expect any problems :-) Thanks
