Sue was wonderful and welcoming - we had 3 families in total with 6 adults and 4 children and it was just perfect. Great location and wonderful cosy property - would 100% recommend and will go back if the opportunity arises.

Lake Taupo is New Zealand's largest lake at 606 sq km in area. It is in the heart of the North Island 357 metres above sea level. It was formed by the greatest volcano explosion.Just a hop skip and jump across to the lake,5 minutes by car into town or airport,or walk on the cobblestone walkway into town.House backs onto a reserve which is great for playing or practicing golf,cricket,touch football etc.Also only 5 minutes walk for the morning paper and milk.
