Our comfortable and well appointed family holiday home is available for use for up to seven people. Our house is surrounded by trees, with a large private sunny deck space upstairs. It has been recently redecorated. There is open plan kitchen dining and lounge, two bedrooms, and bathroom and toilet upstairs, and downstairs there is a second bathroom and toilet with a large rumpus providing additional sleeping accommodation, opening onto another private sunny deck.
Guests have use of our kayak. We are about three minutes walk to the lake and boatramp.
Wake to the sweet sound of birdsong, have breakfast on the deck, relax in one of our deck chairs and let your holiday begin.
Enjoy swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking and bush walks at Pukawa Bay, or relax in the hot pools at Tokaanu (5 mins drive). For the more adventurous there is also rafting and kayaking at Tokaanu, and skiing, tramping at National Park (40 minutes). Take the children to the Tongariro Trout Centre (15 minutes), fish the Tongariro River (10 minutes), or go shopping at Taupo (45 minutes). There is a good supermarket at Turangi, also mini golf or rock climbing for the children.
